Transponder

You will get a transponder for access to buildings and offices. Transponders are not transferable and may not be lent. Please treat your transponder carefully; in case of loss or damage you may be charged 50 €.

Function:

Press the button briefly, but not continuously, at a distance of approx. 30 cm to the closing cylinder on the door. The electronic cylinder acknowledges with a beep and couples, so that you can turn the knob to either open or close the door.

Beeps:

8 short tones before coupling / opening the cylinder: Batteries of the cylinder will need to be replaced soon.

8 short tones (last for 30 seconds) before coupling / opening the cylinder: Batteries are nearly completely discharged. Please inform the porter.

8 short beeps after decoupling: transponder battery is soon discharged. Please contact the porter. The transponder administration has to change the battery.
