Directions
From Munich Airport
Take the S-Bahn (surburban train) S1 or S8 to station "Marienplatz" (about 35 min.), then transfer to subway (U-bahn) line U6 in direction "Klinikum Grosshadern". Please be aware of the different spelling: Sometimes you will see "Großhadern", sometimes "Grosshadern" - it means the same.
Exit the U-Bahn U6 at the penultimate station "Großhadern" (about 17 minutes).
Change to bus 266 (direction "Planegg"). The bus stops at "Großhadener Straße", just besides LMU BioCenter. The bus departs every 10 minutes Mon-Fri between 7 am and 8 pm, but less frequently evenings/weekends.
Alternatively, you can also ride the U6 to the ultimate station "Klinikum Großhadern" and then take a 10 minute walk towards our institute.

From Munich Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof)
Take any S-Bahn train to Marienplatz (2 stops), then transfer to subway (U-bahn) line U6 in direction "Klinikum Grosshadern" and continue as described above.
By Car
Motorway from Nürnberg: Take the exit "Mittlerer Ring", direction motorway "Lindau", exit at "Blumenau", continue towards "Gräfelfing". Pass "Großhadern", then watch out for the sign "LMU Biozentrum".
The motorway from Stuttgart ends in "Obermenzing", continue towards "Pasing" and then "Gräfelfing", then watch out for the sign "LMU Biozentrum".
Motorway from Salzburg or Garmisch: Continue on "Mittlerer Ring" in direction "Großhadern, Stuttgart", from Großhadern continue towards "Gräfelfing", then watch out for the sign "LMU Biozentrum".
